My ex kept hers in a drawer... Oh wait! Wrong forum!
I love me some gourmet home-cooked liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti.

its a vacuum fuel valve; it stops the fuel when the bike gets turned off. under the tank the fuel valve has two bolts holding it. If its leaking from the tank, its probably simply loose. if you take it off, take the top off and check the seal and the spring inside. if you blow into the vacuum nipple, you'll hear and feel the valve working. You can pressure check simply by putting air into the tank (bike is off); just wrap some rags on the air blower and insert it into the gas hole after you take off the gas cap. attach hoses to the fuel nipple (into a can or something) and the hose from the vacuum needs to be held closed while you put in air into the tank. if the fuel pours out, take off your pinch on the vacuum hose and if it stops, your fuel valve is fine. If you have to replace it, one from an 01-03 will fit just right.
