2002 Volusia -- SOLD! (see Page 2)

Postby DLFox » March 22nd, 2013, 11:26 am

I need to sell my 2002 Volusia. This is painful; I really don't want to sell it. Unfortunately, I had a stroke in late February and don't know if I'll regain the strength and balance needed to ride. Ideally, the bike and other items -- e.g., a utility trailer, CycleShell cover, Sears motorcycle lift, battery tender, unused Shoei X-12 helmet -- should go as a package deal to someone in the Washington, DC area. I think the prices are fair, and I'm not about to give things away. Who knows? I might recover sufficiently to ride again.

Details can be found at http://www.nliec.org/Volusia%20Info_2013.pdf

Hey David. So sorry to hear that! I hope you are doing ok, and really pray that you recover well enough to ride again soon. I so hate to hear of stuff like this. It's a reminder to me to be grateful for the things I have. Take care, and let us know if you need anything.

PS. I fixed your link.. it was broken because of the period at the end of it.. :)

The bike is still for sale. Price reduced to $2,500. I had a second stroke last September, fell in a parking garage and broke my upper right arm in five places. Riding is out. SCUBA diving is out. Even playing golf is out because I can't swing a club. Getting old and decrepit is hell.
