Am I better off storing my bike with an empty gas tank or a full tank? I have heard proponents of both methods.

I keep it full to keep condensation to a minimum.

Full tank of gas with stabilizer. I have seen the results of a bike winterized on a low tank of fuel after just one season . Rust city inside the tank. Fill the tank. Drain your carbs.

Thanks for the tips all. I have topped it off, and just as coilguy suggested, fired it up! Sounded great and spirits went sky high! Cannot wait for snow to leave the ground! I do keep the battery indoors over the winter and on a trickle charge tender. Once again, thanks!
