Anybody Ever Messed With One of These?

Want to talk about motorcycles that you own that aren't a C50 or a Volusia? Here's the spot for that.

Nice! I can't really say I've that brand before... But sure wouldn't mind ride it.

It's amazing all the brands that are surfacing nowadays. Maybe they've there since Adam's but, I guess they're just gaining reputation here on this part of the world. Like the other day I saw a bunch of Italian little 175s at a store; Piaggo or Piaggio or something like that.

And these Chinese brand is really prevalent around here too. Have now idea how they gained this type of hype (maybe the price cause they are dirt-cheap!!!). Meilun or some crap like that...

And the most common one is this. It looks like a little cruiser, but rides like crap. You see these bikes like flies around here. Its called a Meilun Cyclone or thereabout:

Anybody Ever Messed With One of These?

What's surfacing these days? Buell is/was an American company founded by a former HD engineer. HD ended up purchasing 49% of the company and they use a HD V-twin as one of their power plants. I thought they closed their doors back in 2009 though.

A buddy of mine had a Buell before HD took them over.

At that time, it was a crotch rocket with HD parts. Big and beefy yet lean forward. he could haul some butt on that. I still think HD bought them just to shut them down.

Friend of mine bought one for his wife. They had a lot of problems with it. Apparently, that model tends to blow a gasket on the intake side, if I remember correctly. He took it back, said he'd never get one again. For the record, he is an HD guy, owns a 97 Springer, and is considering a Fatboy for her next bike. She has a Shadow Aero, right now.
