Too bad there's nothing going on this Memorial Day weekend, close by, with the RNR gang, [ that I know about, anyway ].
I had to postpone my New England trip for two weeks, so I'm stuck here at home in WNC.
I guess I'll just do a few hundred on the Parkway. I always meet a few, or even a bunch, of riders up there and have a good time in spite of starting out alone.

Or, I can always go over to "Wheels Through Time" museum and party with Trapper. That boy is a real "trip", if you have ever met him. He's a laugh a minute, .

I got a few rooms if anyone wants to c'mon up!

If you make it over this way, stop by. Also, are you staying here for RNR?

If you want to do a few hundred on the Parkway and you haven't been there, roll on up to Stations Inn.. It's a great destination.

Derek, I'll stop for a visit for sure. And, more likely than not, be staying there for the RNR. It's not a good idea to drive home "toasted", even though it's only 20 miles, on a holiday weekend as you know, the LEOs are all over the place just looking for DUIs.

Doc, what mile marker is that place you're talking about? I usually only ride from Cherokee to Mt Pisgah and back, but may go as far as Mt Mitchell for lunch. They have great meatloaf. It's the first thing that sells out on the menu.

Sounds great Doc, but that's over a 400 mile round trip for me. A little too much for a holiday weekend, with all the added traffic. But, I'll do'er next chance I git, ;) . Thanks
