Who rides the oldest bike on a regular basis?

Postby Luvs2Play » May 13th, 2014, 12:33 pm

I have a 1974 Honda 360 that I ride at least 50 miles a week during the summer. It just had it's 40th birthday and still running strong!

I got rid of my Kawi 440 LTD quite some time back.. otherwise, I'd still be riding that. You still have me beat though. The Kawi was an '81.

Wish ai still had my old Honda, think it was a 1972 CB175. Not a fast bike but so much fun to ride.

I cheated though, my dad owned the Honda shop when I was growing up. I had a lot of them, just not in my name.

The oldest owned bike? 2008 C50T

However, I have been looking for an older bike for a restore/bring back to life. I don't want to dump thousands of dollars into the project - just enough to keep her running and make her look good.

I got addicted to riding on those late '60s early '70s Hondas. Excellent riding and very dependable bikes. Wish I had the good sense to keep that shiny red, white, and chrome 1970 CB175 I paid cash for and rode off the lot on my 16th birthday! Rode it for two years straight, rain or shine, never let me down. I weighed a lot less then tho!
