How can we get people back on this forum?

Postby Fletch » May 1st, 2014, 9:56 am

Any ideas? I would love to see the old community back together.
I know most of us are on Facebook but I miss this place.

Maybe a mass email to the membership. Some kind of contest or something easy to make people want to get involved again.

I would be for that. There is the ability to do that here. I only have one real rule about any mass mailings.. no advertising of anything. I'll work with whomever on doing something like this so long as we can stick to that rule.

You might actually drive some folks away with that offer, LOL! Not everyone is as adventurous as me!

The forum does not have advertising, that is actually one of the best things about any forum is avoiding the ads.

I no longer have my C50, but still check in. I have at least stayed with Suzuki though.

This is what I started on the 109 forum if anyone is interested, it starts from the very beginning and there are a lot of posts to read before it got going, but it did bring a lot of people together and back to the forum. Plus it is a lot of fun. Just an idea to maybe get the members back together.

And then there is this one, not my idea, but got it started there too.

I like the relay idea, not sure how far I could bring it with my limited riding ability but would do what I could.

I have also been thinking of maybe having a VOL rally, don't know when or where to get the most participants. I know $$$ limits a bunch of our traveling time and ability.

How about just a mass email inviting everyone back on a certain day to reconnect? A VOL reunion.
