Hard to shift

Hi thanks for writing all that up. I took a lil trip outside the city to visit my mom. This is a very small town and there is nothing I need on these parts. I'll comeback home on Monday and change the oil, and look at the clutch in the engine area. I think I've seen a clutch adjustment guide in the ...

Hard to shift

For few weeks now I'm noticing that it's becoming really hard to shift (either up or down). And don't talk about trying to get to Neutral after a short ride, I'll be there from 1st to 2nd for a ling time, and the gears are very hard. The oil is 20-50 and still has a month or so to go. The bike is a ...

Fuel question.

Maybe the carbureted Vols, as there is no way to drain the the tanks on a C50 without removing the fuel pump installed in the tank.

But unscrewing and unhooking the tank is not too much work. It should take 15 mins the most.

Oil leaking from gear drive. Bad seal? Big deal?

It's not an excessive seapage as I had changed the seal pointed out in Pic1 like a month or so prior to opening again and noticing the bit of oil inside the shaft and wheel area. I think I may had caused it by overfilling the gear drive with oil. This last time when i opened it I filled it up to mar...

Oil leaking from gear drive. Bad seal? Big deal?

A while ago I changes an oil seal inside the shaft drive. I rechecked it this weekend to see that I did a good job and found oil inside but not from the seal I just changed but seems to be coming from another area: http://i590.photobucket.com/albums/ss348/ron2k_1/046F0DEA-9FBF-4AEA-B47B-1C48FD332CF1...

sputtering on the ride today.

I don't want to scare you, as I'm not a mechanic so take my comments with a grain of salt. If it happens when decelerating, then chances are something is wrong with your gas pump. The filter either caught up something, something is a lil gummed up (seafoam may help) or the pump is giving in and you ...

Chat

I've checked into that thing dozens of times and I've never been able to catch anybody else in there. I know fiv-0 every now and again he posts in his thread he wants to chat, but haven't seen that in a long time. Someone should probably call a time and we all just hang out in there for a while. Sen...

WE Love You All

Hey Bugman,

I don't know what's going on. It should be really tough considering what you said. Just bear in mind that the Guy upstairs will not burden us with stuff we cannot handle... Cliche, but just hang on there as no storm lasts for ever.

Take care guy
